Hope and Healing Program

Funded by grants through FEMA and SAMHSA and developed by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care and DHS’ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, HEAL is designed to support frontline staff in all healthcare settings, with an emphasis on long term care. HEAL crisis counseling program counselors are mental health specialists, nurses and related healthcare worker peer staff supervised by team leaders.

The program offers COVID crisis counseling by phone (1-833-416-8773), chat and email and will operate as a primary point of contact from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. seven days a week.

It also offers virtual support groups and virtual resilience and wellness webinars beginning February 18th 2021.  Click the link below to register for the webinars:
